The h0ttest things around for me currently is diwali...
yes, it's over...bt diwali mooD is fortunately still on...
though i have 2 mention that i celebrated a belated diwali!!!!! :(
hmm//..( wasn't looking at the sky and cryin out loud..) instead cryin out at my biology book!!..haih..was kinda the most miserable diwali i've ever experienced in my life!!..

it was acc a week afta diwali i actually celebrated diwali with my family and friends..
it was a blast!!!...the slightest disappoinment is that i wasn't home 4 diwali...but dt didn't matter much afta the craziest diwali open hse i had at h0me!!!!...
it was wild.. crazy... but zhooiikkss...it WAS FUN!!!!! haha... that's diwali f0r me.. FUN!!!!...

Btw..to all hindus n punjabis out der...happy DEEpavali n bandi chhorh divas!!!!

Heavy heart

*sigh**
It's the day! A day that i've never wished for. It has finally arrived!
My holidays have come to an end. Got my bus tickets ready, My bag all packed.

I am not at all in the mood of going back to college. My heart seems to be heavy. It's beating so fast, faster then i've ever felt. Feel like I am missing something since the day i got my bus tickets!.. Haish..it has been 2 months since i entered college but it's like i've been there for so long..A few more months and I'm done with this course.
Wonder when will it end!!!??..

Learn some manners..watch barney & friends

2009..yeah it's a great point of civilisation. But, i still wonder what civilisation means these days!

civilisation: evryone is busy, materialistic, rudy rude!!! ..

So, what am i grubling about again?

Well, this is what i went through last Wednesday. I went to the government clinic just a stone's throw away from my place. I was having this bad flu and fever which comes on and off ocassionally. Wanted to get myself seriously checked up fearing the recent H1N1 outbreak.

As usual, walked to the counter anxiously getting my number.. it was heLL crowded..wondered if i had to wait the whole day to get treated!! And there was the HA (hospital assistant). She asked me if i've been to that particular clinic before and i said yes but very long time. I was taken a back when she suddenly raised her voice at me and said how long exactly?!!..i frowned lightly surprised at her reaction, answered in a rather polite manner, " it's about a year. I'm not sure! Sorry!"..Then she just told me to pay a dollar and since I had no change but RM10 with me, i handed her that money and waited for my change. She didn't give me back my change for quite some time. It was someone else's turn already and i thought may be she forgot.

Silently, I asked her, " Excuse me, maam. I paid RM10. My change please..".. This time she went over board!!..At that point i truly felt that I'm another plain human and my patience had its limits. I kept my cool..and took her answers.. calm.

" Why can't u wait? Can't you see I'm busy over here? I'm not gonna run away with your money!!!" and she threw my balance on the table just like that!!

It's either she didn't like me or she has no respect for money?!!!

I collected my cash and walked off without saying a word!!

What a day i thought?!!..

Then, it was my turn to see the doctor. Finally!! After a real long wait!! Now, the doctor..I wonder if he seriously was a doctor cz' his name didn't have a 'Dr.' and he was wearing a pale yellow uniform and wore a tag saying 'Pegawai kesihatan'..Maybe he was another HA i thought!!..True enough he certainly was!!..Just like any other docs he asked me what my problem was..bla..bla..bla..Same old thing..check on breathing..told me to say AAAAhhhHHHH..shined a torch into my mouth and said 'OK' plainly!...Prescribed some medicines that i should take and called up to the next patient.."huh U..what's wrong with u??"..and that was in a rather harsh manner..

my confusions in this case:

  1. can a HA treat patients..this happens in a government hospital especially when it is crowded..but still..do they know what exactly they are doing????
  2. even if they have to treat patients regardless the lack in number of doctors..can they prescribe??
  3. they are not even doctors..i believe that they won't even know what they are doing at times..how dare he mistreat the patients by just 'hey U'ing on them??!!! Well, even if he were to be a real doctor..a good qualified one..didn't his mum teach him any manners. I always believe in treating people the way you want to be treated!..Just because ur sitting on a great seat where people believe one who could save a life, that doesn't mean u can just mis- treat people like that!!..What happen to the Hippocratic Oath that newly graduated doctors take..is it merely another sake of formalities??

KMPK vs KMM

Finally i had the chance to visit KMPK..just a couple of days back.
I heard from others that this place was new and huge..
Got a view of it at last...
main entrance..heads 2 the administration office
good coverage..alot of these around the college compound..while in KMM only around the library area!..SIgh***
girls dorm..certainly looks welcoming! and they have a tennis court for every block!

in the unit...nice..but the lecturers are kinda hidden in boxes..real big ones!!!!
tribute to the English language!
cafe!!!..our Cafe B looks better but certainly not as clean as this one!..and hey they have roti canai and indian stalls as well..sigh**..wish to have a 'tosai'....
library...ours looks better~~..hehe
now, this is what I like!!..
good place to 'lepak' (hang around) in the evenings!
ours is 'blue'/..
this is soooooo needed!!!..convenient!
this is the best one so far!!!..a bistr0..the food is nice..i like their cheese sticks..oOwh..am soooo crazy about em'

KMPK is seriously awesome..way way better than KMM for sure..yeah it is quite new..built in 2002 and is definitely very well-maintained.
Facilities are sufficient and so are the sources!..
I so envy the students here...

Sunday!!!

Last Sunday was rather my DAY..yeah it was kinda busy but i enjoyed it as it wud be the last weekend i could actually enjoy during this mid-semester with my family that is.

A usual i got up early.. went for badminton in Cultural Hall (a.k.a) Rayan Hall here in Ipoh.

It was a nice gathering between the Ceylonese Society ( I think they should have more of these small gatherings..pretty healthy ones). Finally got to sweat after a real long time. Did realise a fall in stamina but eventually i picked up!..'nO PAin nO GAin'..

And of course it's my last Sunday, so seriously did not want to miss my sh0w..whatelse- HARRY POTTER 6-..Not exactly a big fan of HArry poTTer or even Daniel Radcliffe.. it;s all the h00-haa on it that lured me to GSC since it was realesed on the 16th of July 2009. Though i watched the 1st 4 movies..i still enjoyed the 1st one.

The movie (HP 6) was successful emotionally (Albus died in the end..Really admired him since the very beginning..he was always very wise in my opinion)..the beginning was okay..(i still do not know what happened to that 'hot' girl (MUggle) who appeared in the cafe at the railwayz...) and of course all the pulse activating scenes here and there..honestly the 1st half was kinda draggy.,..strongly feel the love potion thingy is soo not neccessary!!..a bit childish though - my point of view!!..But the rest was good. Really enjoyed the creative graphical affects that is different..its surely a contributing factor to J.K. Rowling's success!!..Something that we can neveR find in any other shows!!..so hats off to her and member's of the Crew!!!..in a nutshell i would rate hp6 at 6/10!!!..still not bad!!


Back home was another back to back movie mania. Managed to watch a tamil movie..not mentioning its name cz i would obviously rate it as a 3rd class movie..bad story!!!..i wonder if directors these days have ran out of ideas!!..but the songs were good though..music director???who else if it's not A.R. Rahman!!!!!!!!!!!..Then, was 17 Again..my 2nd sh0w..haha..my brother managed to grab a CD from his friend so we watched it together~!!!..no comments on that movie..haha..


Conclusion: I managed to save a Sunday!!!!hoooraaahhhhhhhhh=p

ONE MALAYSIA!!!..but?

Malaysia...

the country i was born, bred and live in...
A multi racial country with its people practising their own religion and culture...
Malays, Chinese, Indians, Eurasians and other indeginous people like Iban and Kadazan..
multireligious practices in Malaysia is indeed a unique feature...
this indeed reflects the acceptance of all religious practices and freedom to practice them..
this truth is well enshrined in the national constitution...

in this era of wide spread terrorism, Malaysia has adopted strict measures to curb subversive activities and terrorism in the interest of peace and harmony...
and so it is possible for us to travel the length and breadth of Malaysia, without fear of bombs exploding without warning.....

M'sia is a country with plenty of resources...
there are about 3 million foreigners in this country to make a living...
a stable government with peaceful and hardworking people...

n0t forgetting the Malaysian delight...
f00d......
truly a heaven for all food loversss...
an array of cuisine....
roti canai, nasi lemak, chee cheong fun, nasi kandar,......m0re & more.......


BUT...

the darkness has l00med....
this country is not as it was before.....
she has failed to keep her promise...............
not to blame 'her' but her cells that make her up for what she is.......
is it temporary or......WORST......????!!!!!!

I was born in Malaysia no doubt. Although I'm a pure Sri Lankan by bl00d, i'd always love the place i was born in. It was a different situation all together 10 years back. I was old enough..or matured enough to know what's goin on, the people i meet and to remember their perspectives and their sense of patriotisme since then!...

Back in primary, I remember all of us used to take part in national day competitions held in school. For instance, class deco, poster drawing, poem recital, creative essays and much, much more!..At that period of life, everyone was enthusiastic about what they did to show their respective love and loyalty to the country.

However, now, it seems like most of us are lacking in patriotisme. I wonder... what's the price???If at all our thoughts towards the country keep deteorating like that, there is gonna be another dead country on the world map and who knows it would extinct just like that!!..

Think about it dear Malaysians..!!!!
We are truly Malaysians no matter where we end up around the globE..
But we have the same undestroyable style...the MALAYSIAN style...
the way we speak...the way we eat...out thoughts...
our life is merely a huge circle....make a tour and u come back to the same point....'
so dear MALAYSIANsss...st0p pretending...
cz' whatever we do we are still MALAYSIANss..
